About Us
Stirling Underwater Hockey Club (SUHC) was founded in 2004 with the aim of introducing and promoting this exciting game in Singapore.
With active members from several countries: Singapore, the Philippines, Indonesia, Malaysia, Belgium, South Africa, Portugal, the Netherlands, Australia, Germany and the United Kingdom, SUHC is easily one of the most international underwater hockey clubs in the world.
The age of SUHCers ranges from sixteen to seniors in the fifties, and this group consists of a large number of female players (around one in three are women).
SUHC has involved UWH neighbours, Australia, Japan, New Zealand and the Philippines in a friendly competition, which led to the holding of the first Asian Underwater Hockey Championships (AUHC) in 2007 in Singapore.
